I May Be in Love with Toulouse

I don’t say this lightly. I knew little about Toulouse, but I fell in love as soon as I arrived. Just the ride from the airport to the hotel was beautiful, even on a rainy day. I hadn’t really planned on going to Toulouse as part of my original vacation, but I was going to France to play some shows and promote an album - more on that here.

Since I was solo on this leg of the trip, I booked a small room in a “boutique,” very old-school, very French, hotel… l’Hôtel Croix Baragnon. It was fantastic! It was right in the city centre and convenient to the venue for the show and an absolutely perfect spot for exploring the city.

Once I unpacked, I was ready to get out and explore until time for soundcheck at Bar Le Ravelin. It was a bit rainy, but I didn’t mind. I had an umbrella, and rainy days usually mean less-crowded streets. The photos here are from the first couple of days. Let me know what you think and ask any questions in the comments below.
