We made it to Birmingham

This post will be short and sweet. After our too-brief stay in Dublin, we took the train to Birmingham after arriving in Holyhead, Wales by ferry. Once we unloaded and re-organized in our apartment, we headed out in the city to get our bearings, some fresh air, and a bit of dinner. I managed to get a few photos in-between. We turned in a little early this particular night, as we were getting up the next morning to take a train to a little town called Droitwich Spa, which is on the way to another little village called Cooksey Green, which is where my family name originated. More on that in the next blog post, but here are a few snaps from a couple of hours walking around Birmingham, and from the next morning before boarding the train to Droitwich Spa.
